Welcome to the commentary section! So, the introduction of Bryn went through a few rewrites, including one where she hides away from Siv's clan trying to kill her. Ultimately, I decided to follow one of my common pieces of writing advice: if an element of the story can be cut without changing the overall narrative, then that element should be cut.
